US 12 / McNary Pool to Old Highway 12 & Clarkston Paving

US 12 from SR 128 to Diagonal St. Intersection milepost 432 to 434 Monday through Friday nights from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a .m. crews will be removing the existing curb and installing new curb and curb ramps. One lane will be closed and traffic will be piloted through the work zone. Drivers should use caution and expect delays.

Project Description:
This project will mill out the existing asphalt and pave back new HMA on three section of US 12.

SR 224 - MP 7.67 Vicinity Charter Communications - Utility Work

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
On Monday, July 24, drivers may experience minor delays near the intersection of SR 224 MP 7.67 and Bombing Range Road/N. 46th Street in Benton City. Flaggers will stop traffic intermittently between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Project Description:

I-82 Columbia River Bridge - EB Truss Deck Replacement

Current Week Traffic Advisory
:
I-82, eastbound is reduced to one lane across the Columbia River bridge into Oregon and will remain in that configuration 24/7. Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.  to 6 p.m. Westbound traffic across the Columbia River Bridge into Washington will have one lane closed. Speed limit is reduced to 55 mph through the work zone.

Project Description:
This project will remove the deck off the truss section of the eastbound bridge across the Columbia River into Oregon. The work will also upgrade the electrical system and pavement markings across the bridge. Traffic will be detoured onto the westbound bridge during the majority of this multi-session project.



Tri-Cities Vicinity Paving, I-S Improvements & ADA

SR-240, between the Blue Bridge and Columbia Center Blvd Interchange: Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. there will be intermittent night time ramp closures at Columbia Center Blvd Interchange delays can be expected. On SR 240 at milepost 27, intersection of Hagen Rd / Robertson Driver, crews will be working on a new signal system at these intersection. 

SR 240 – Aaron Dr. to Duportail-MP 34.8 to MP 34: Monday through Friday from 8 p.m.. to 5:30 a.m. there will be intermittent night lane closures as crews plane the existing asphalt and install new HMA.

Project Description:
This project will grind out and repave the roadway from Foster Wells Intersection to I-182 interchange on US-395. On SR-240 from Jadwin to Arron Drive and from the Blue Bridge and Columbia Center Blvd Interchange. Signals will be installed at Kingsgate Way and Hagen Robertson intersection on SR 240.

Project Description:
This is a City of Pasco utility project, and the City of Pasco’s contractor will be completing the pavement restoration as part of a new water main under the SR-397 (Oregon Avenue) roadway between MP 20.47 and MP 21.86.

SR- 906 MP 0.00 through MP 2.55: Tuesday July 25, through Thursday July 27, drivers may experience minor delays. Motorists should be prepared for alternating one-way traffic while flaggers direct traffic through the work zone during daylight hours.



I-90 468th Ave. SE to W Summit Rd EB – Rehab Concrete, Deck Rehab, Culvert Rehab (mileposts 34 to 52)

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
Eastbound:
Drivers can expect lane closures from milepost 34 near North Bend to milepost 52 near the summit of Snoqualmie pass 24 hours a day seven days a week. Drivers should plan for added travel time through this area.

Westbound:
Drivers can expect day and night time lane closures from the summit of Snoqualmie pass to milepost 45,  Monday through Friday. Delays can be anticipated. Implementation of the westbound traffic split is underway, drivers can expect traffic shifts and minor delays.

Project Description:
This project will provide for rehabilitation of the eastbound lanes of I-90 from the 468th Avenue Interchange in North Bend to the West Summit Road at Snoqualmie Pass (milepost 34 to milepost 52). Work will consist of concrete panel replacement, concrete pavement grinding and culvert rehabilitation to maintain drainage. Also included in the work is the
rehabilitation of bridge decks 90/91S eastbound at Snoqualmie River, 90/96.5N westbound at Denny Creek, the Denny Creek Viaduct Bridge 90/97.2N westbound and Bridge 90/97.7N westbound at Franklin Falls.

I-90 Hyak to Keechelus Dam Phase 1C – Replace Snow shed and Add Lanes (mileposts 57 to 60)

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
Nighttime:
Monday evening through Saturday morning  westbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane during nighttime hours. Minimal
delays are anticipated.  

Daytime: Monday through Friday, both directions of traffic should prepare for intermittent rolling slowdowns. Minimal delays are anticipated. 

Scheduled rock blasting related closures: 
No scheduled blasting for this week.

During the closure, eastbound traffic will be stopped at Gold Creek milepost 56. Westbound traffic will be stopped at Price Creek  milepost 61. No services are available past exit 53, eastbound and exit 70, westbound during blast closures. Anticipate one hour or more of added travel time.

Bicycle Alternate Route: I-90 is closed to bicycles in both directions
between the Hyak interchange (Exit 54) and Stampede Pass interchange (exit 62) because there is no shoulder for bicycles to use.

Project Description:
Crews are building a wider and more reliable five-mile stretch of I-90 from Hyak to Keechelus Dam by adding lanes, replacing and adding bridges, stabilizing rock slopes and replacing the snow shed with avalanche bridges.

Project Description:
This project provides for the improvement of 2.5 miles of I-90 from Keechelus Dam to the Price Creek Rest Area. The existing four lane facility will be replaced with a new six lane highway which includes several new bridges, drainage structures, chain up areas, illumination and ITS facilities and a wildlife overcrossing structure.

Westbound Indian John Rest Area Closure: Monday evening July 24 through Friday morning July 28, the westbound rest area will be closed from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. A temporary rest area for cars only will be available in Cle Elum, Exit 84.

This two year project provides for the improvement of 6 miles of westbound Interstate 90, located approximately 5 miles east of Cle Elum, by replacing the concrete pavement.



US-97 MP 134– Dolarway Intersection – Intersection Improvements

The intersection, although still in construction, is now in a roundabout configuration, instead of a four-way stop. Please make sure to turn right when entering the roundabout.

Project Description: This project replaces the existing Dolarway Intersection on US-97 at MP 134 with a roundabout. The project will also add a right turn lane on the I-90 westbound off ramp and an additional lane on US 97 northbound. The project will update drainage, sidewalks, illumination and landscaping.

I-90 milepost 137 eastbound: Monday thru Thursday July 24 to 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will a lane closure across the Vantage Bridge for deck repairs.

I-90 milepost 74 eastbound: Tuesday July 25, 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. maintenance crews will close the left lane eastbound I-90 near milepost 74 (West Nelson Siding Road) to milepost 75 for guardrail repair.

I-90 westbound milepost 72 and milepost 75: Wednesday July 26, from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. maintenance crews will close the left lane near milepost 75 (West Nelson Siding Road) guardrail repairs and the right lane near milepost 72 (Easton) guardrail repair.

I-90 milepost 94 westbound: Thursday July 27 from  6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  maintenance crews will close the right lane for guardrail repair.

Project Description:
This project will construct a bridge over the Union Pacific railroad crossing to allow SR-124 traffic to cross above the railroad. Monument Drive will reconnect to SR-124 west of its current location. Moving the intersection will improve safety for traffic entering SR-124 at milepost 5.

SR 22 milepost 3.75 Utility Work

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
SR-22 MP 3.75: Tuesday July 25, through Thursday July 27, drivers may experience minor delays during daylight hours. Motorists should be prepared for flagger controlled traffic at the intersection of SR-22 and W 2nd Ave. in Toppenish. The sidewalk along the east side of SR-22 and along the south side of W 2nd Ave near the intersection of SR-22 may be closed intermittently during the project, a detour will be in place for pedestrians to cross W 2nd Ave.

Rimrock milepost 166 to White Pass milepost 151: Monday, July 24 through Friday Aug 4, traffic should be prepared for alternating one-way traffic control in three separate locations 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Drivers should anticipate up to 40-minute delays during daytime hours.

This project provides for the improvement of US-12 in various location between MP 140 to MP 166 by repaving the asphalt, drainage work and safety improvements



I-82 / US 97 – Yakima County Deck Rehabilitation (I-82 mileposts 41 to 42, US 97 mileposts 37 to 38)

I-82 milepost 41: Through Friday August 4, westbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane 24 hours per day, seven days per week. No impacts to traffic are anticipated.

US-97 milepost 37: Friday July 28, traffic should be prepared for alternating one-way traffic control during daytime hours. Minimal delays are anticipated. 

Project Description
:
This project rehabilitates the bridge deck on two bridges in Yakima County. Bridge 82/135N is the westbound bridge that crosses the Yakima Valley Highway at milepost 42, located 5 miles east of Yakima on I-82. Bridge 97/102 crosses Satus Creek, located 24 miles south of
Toppenish on US-97. The bridges will be rehabilitated by removing and replacing the top portion of the bridge decks with a modified concrete overly. Bridge expansion joints will also be replaced.



US-97 / SR 22 Vic to 2nd Ave Vic – Paving & Roadside and I/S Improvements

US 97 MP 61.3 to 74.5:

Drivers will encounter nighttime single lane closures both northbound and southbound on US 97 Monday through Friday from 9pm to 7am. Anticipate minor delays.

Expect signal lights to be in red flashing mode with flaggers on all legs directing traffic through the intersection at night Monday, July 24 through Friday, July 28, from 9 pm to 7 am. Anticipate minor delays.

Expect signal lights to be in red flashing mode with flaggers on all legs directing traffic through the intersection at night Monday, July 24 through Friday, July 28, from 9 pm to 7 am. Anticipate minor delays.

US 97 & Fort Rd./West 1st Ave. Intersection:

US 97 & SR 22/US 97 Intersection:

Pedestrian Access Notification for above intersections:
ADA ramp work will be happening throughout the week; pedestrians need to use extra caution when trying to travel through these areas from Sunday, July 23 through Saturday, July 29, 24 hours a day.

I-82 WB off-ramp to Main Street Union Gap (Exit 38): Monday night July 24 through Thursday morning July 27, the off-ramp will be closed to traffic from 8 pm to 6 am. During the off-ramp closure, drivers can access Union Gap via the Valley Mall Boulevard Interchange at Exit 36.

All South Union Gap Interchange Ramps: Wednesday night July 26 through Friday morning July 28, from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., drivers should use caution as crews will be using a mobile operation to stripe the interchange ramps.

Project Description:
This project provides for the improvement of I-82 from MP 36.95 to MP 38.78 and US-97 from MP 74.80 to 76.36 and the associated interchange ramps in the South Union Gap vicinity by repaving the asphalt, rehabilitating 6 bridge decks and modifying expansion joints on 3
bridges.


Maintenance/Utility Operations: 
US-12 milepost 183 (Oak Creek) to milepost 166 (Wildcat): Monday July 24 through Thursday July 27 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. travelers can expect short delays for maintenance work.

US-12 milepost 202 eastbound, between 40th Ave and 16th Ave.: Tuesday July 25, the right lane will be closed for a WSP investigation.

SR-223 milepost 1 Track RD.: Monday July 24 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. crews with have a lane closure for paving at the railroad tracks. 

SR-24 milepost 41: Wednesday July 26, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. crews will have flagged traffic control for guardrail repair work.
