Snake River Red Wolf Bridge Deck Rehabilitation

Current Week Traffic Advisory: 
The bridge is closed to traffic 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until Friday May 25 as crews rehabilitate the bridge deck.  People who normally use the bridge will be detoured onto US 12 / Bridge Street. 

Project Description:
This project will rehabilitate the existing bridge deck of the Red Wolf Bridge on SR 128 MP 0.22 to MP 0.50 between Asotin County and Whitman County. Traffic will be detoured onto US12/Bridge Street.

Current Week Traffic Advisory: 
Monday May 14 through Thursday May 17, SR-129 (6th Street) will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day during work hours and open each night and through the weekends. 

Project Description:
This an Asotin County PUD waterline replacement project under SR-129 (6th Street) between the intersection of SR-129 / Poplar Street and SR- 129 / US-12. Beginning May 7th through June 7th, SR-129 (6th Street) will be closed to through traffic and a detour will be in place.

I-82 Columbia River Bridge - EB Truss Deck Replacement

Single lane traffic both directions is in place until Fall 2018

Eastbound traffic has been shifted across a detour onto the westbound Columbia River bridge into Oregon. The speed limit east and westbound is reduced to 40 mph across this detour. Westbound traffic is also reduced to a single lane.

Project Description:
This project will remove the deck off the truss section of the eastbound bridge across the Columbia River into Oregon. The work will also upgrade the electrical system and pavement markings across the bridge. Traffic will be detoured onto the westbound bridge during the majority of this multi-session project. 


I-182 / Queensgate Dr – Interchange Improvements

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
Construction Activity will be taking place Monday Evening, May 14 through Saturday Morning, May 19 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. This night work will have no impact to traffic.

On Friday, May 18 at 8 p.m. through Monday, May 21 at 5 a.m. the eastbound on ramp from Queensgate to I-182 will be closed. A detour will be in place on Columbia Park Trail to SR-240 interchange. Signs and message boards will be in place directing traffic onto the detour. During this weekend closure traffic will be flagged though the intersection of Queensgate and I-182 ramp terminals as crews remove the signal system and install a paved detour around the intersection. Delays are anticipated.


Project Description:
This Contract provides for the improvement of the I-182/Queensgate
Drive Interchange by replacing the existing traffic signal with a roundabout, re-aligning and adding second lanes to the EB on/off-ramps that connect to/from the roundabout, constructing high-mast light standard foundations, installing new drainage structures, constructing a new shared use path and other work.



SR-240 milepost 25.5 to milepost 26.5 City of Richland Village Parkway Intersection

Project Description:
This is a Developer project. The Developer’s contractor will be constructing a new intersection with left-turn channelization on SR-240 at milepost 26.16.

SR-225 both directions milepost 0 to milepost 1: Tuesday May 15 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. there will be single lane flagger operation for guardrail repair.

I-182 eastbound milepost 5 to milepost 6: Tuesday May 15  between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. there will be alternating right and left lane closures for a bridge inspection.

I-182 westbound milepost 6 to milepost 7: Wednesday  May 16 between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. there will be alternating right and left lane closures for a bridge inspection.

SR-241 both directions milepost 12 to milepost 18: Wednesday May 16 and Thursday May 17 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. there will be a single lane  flagged closure for a ditching operation.

US-395 northbound milepost 18 to milepost 19: On Wednesday May 16 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. there will be a right lane closure for bridge maintenance and inspection. The northbound on ramp at Columbia Drive will also be closed as part of this work effort.

SR-240 eastbound milepost 36 to 39 Kennewick: Thursday May 17 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. there will be a right turn lane closure prior to Columbia Center Blvd. for overhead sign work and pavement marking.

US-12 milepost 413 to milepost 419: Tuesday May 15 through Thursday May 17 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. single lane flagged / pilot car controlled traffic for pavement sealing operations. Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
SR-127 milepost 10, Tuesday May 15 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. single lane flagger and pilot car controlled traffic for bridge deck patching work. Minor traffic delays will be associated with this work operation.

Project Description:
This project will provide for rehabilitation of the eastbound lanes of I-90 from the 468th Avenue Interchange in North Bend to the West Summit Road at Snoqualmie Pass (milepost 34 to milepost 52). Work will consist of concrete panel replacement, concrete pavement grinding and culvert rehabilitation to maintain drainage. Also included in the work is the
rehabilitation of bridge decks 90/91S eastbound at Snoqualmie River, 90/96.5N westbound at Denny Creek, the Denny Creek Viaduct Bridge 90/97.2N westbound and Bridge 90/97.7N westbound at Franklin Falls.

Project Description:
This project proposes to replace the existing lighting system at the USFS 9030 Rd interchange at milepost 46. Work will consist of replacing luminaire foundations and poles, new electrical junction boxes, conduit and service cabinets and other work associated with the project.

I-90 Hyak to Keechelus Dam Phase 1C – Replace Snow shed and Add Lanes (mileposts 57 to 60)

Current Week Traffic Advisory:

Eastbound:

Monday evening May 14 through Thursday morning May 17, eastbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane between the hours of 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. the following morning. Minimal impacts to traffic are anticipated.

Westbound:
Monday evening May 14 through Saturday morning May 19, westbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane between the hours of 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. the following morning. Minimal impacts to traffic are anticipated. 


Scheduled rock blasting related closures:
• Wednesday May 16, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Thursday May 17, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Closures are planned to last one hour, it is always possible that cleanup efforts could take longer if more material comes down than predicted.

Eastbound traffic will be stopped at Gold Creek milepost 56, westbound traffic will be stopped at milepost 61 Price Creek. No services are available past exit 53 eastbound and exit 70 westbound during blast closures. Anticipate one hour or more of added travel time.

Bicycle Alternate Route:
I-90 is closed to bicycles in both directions
between the Hyak interchange (Exit 54) and Stampede Pass interchange (exit 62) because there are no shoulders for bicycles to use.

Project Description:
Crews are building a wider and more reliable five-mile stretch of I-90 from Hyak to Keechelus Dam by adding lanes, replacing and adding bridges, stabilizing rock slopes and replacing the snow shed with avalanche bridges.

Project Description:
This project provides for the improvement of 2.5 miles of I-90 from Keechelus Dam to the Price Creek Rest Area. The existing four lane facility will be replaced with a new six lane highway which includes several new bridges, drainage structures, chain up areas, illumination and ITS facilities and a wildlife overcrossing structure.

Project Description:
This project provides for the improvement of Yakima River Bridges, on I-90, East of Cle Elum, MP 86.2, Bridge 10/140 N&S: and West of Ellensburg, MP 102.5, Bridges 10/154 N&S. The bridges will be rehabilitated by removing and replacing the bridge decks with a concrete overlay. Bridge expansion joints will also be modified on all 4 bridges and hinge repair completed on 2 bridges. A temporary bridge will be used to detour traffic around the work area during the summer and fall, until the project shuts down for the winter

US-730 / 0.2 to 1.8 Miles N of Oregon Border Rockfall Prevention

control in Umatilla County Oregon and other work.

US-12 / Rimrock Lake Vicinity Stabilize Slope (milepost 165)

This project provides for the improvement of the unstable slope on US 12 milepost 165 by stabilizing the rock slope through removal of loose rocks, soil and debris.

Project Description: This project provides for the improvement of the Naches River Nelson Bridges on US-12, MP 198.66, by cleaning and painting all exposed metal surfaces. It also provides for removing and replacing bird screens over the truss hand holes on Bridge 12/328S, and heat straightening repair on Bridge 12/328N.

Project Description:
This project rehabilitates the bridge deck on two bridges in Yakima County. Bridge 82/135N is the westbound bridge that crosses the Yakima Valley Highway at milepost 42, located 5 miles east of Yakima on I-82. Bridge 97/102 crosses Satus Creek, located 24 miles south of
Toppenish on US-97. The bridges will be rehabilitated by removing and replacing the top portion of the bridge decks with a modified concrete overly. Bridge expansion joints will also be replaced.

Monday, May 14 SR-22 (S Elm Street) north and south bound traffic will be reduced to one lane at the intersection of SR-22 and 2nd Avenue between 7 a.m. and 5  p.m.  Drivers will experience minor delays as flaggers will alternate vehicles through the work zone.

Project Description:
This is Pacific Power utility work on SR-22 (S Elm Street) at the intersection of SR-22 and 2nd Avenue in the City of Toppenish. Pacific Power will be removing a power pole on the east side of SR-22.
