I-5 Northbound - Sunday, July 27 to the morning of Monday, July 28 - The right lane of the northbound I-5 collector distributor at James Street and the northbound I-5 off-ramp to James street will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for drilling work. Drivers will follow a signed a detour.

I-5 Both Directions - I-5, Mellen Street to Blakeslee Junction - Stage 2 (mileposts 79.81 to 84.15) Traffic Impacts: Monday, July 28 to Friday, Aug. 1: Daytime and nighttime, intermittent, single-lane and shoulder closures on both directions of I-5. Nighttime closures and flaggers on Mellen Street, from 7p.m. to 7 a.m. Drivers should follow signed detours between Ellsbury Street South and Marsh Avenue.

I-5 Both Directions - Tuesday, July 8 to November - Both directions of I-5 near the Stillaguamish River Bridge have been reduced to two lanes until bridge work is complete in November. Drivers should be prepared for some delays throughout the day. The heaviest northbound congestion is expected Thursdays and Fridays 3-6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The heaviest southbound congestion is expected Sundays 4 to 6 p.m. Drivers should plan for up to 35 minutes of extra travel time during these hours.

I-5 Southbound - All southbound I-5 traffic is reduced to two lanes and will use a new crossover across the median to two lanes of northbound I-5 across the Stillaguamish River Bridge, crossing back over on the other side of the bridge, until the project is complete in November. Northbound I-5 is reduced to two lanes from SR 530 to 236th Street Northeast as well. Drivers should prepare for a 55 mile per hour speed limit in both directions in the work zone.

Thursday, July 31: Nighttime, ramp closures, southbound Main Street on-ramp to the southbound Northeast 39th Street off-ramp, and northbound Northeast 39th Street on-ramp to Main Street off-ramp.

I-5 Northbound - I-5, Northbound, Gee Creek Rest Area, Discovery Corridor Wastewater Transmission System (milepost 10.75) Traffic Impacts: Monday, July 28 to Friday, Aug. 1: Daytime narrow lanes with temporary striping and barriers at the entrance of the Gee Creek Rest Area for sewer line installation. NOTE: There will be intermittent shoulder closures on both directions of I-5 between mileposts 11.47 and 13.82 from Friday, July 11 to Friday, August 15.

Fork Lewis River Bridge - Painting (mileposts 19.83 to 20.08) Traffic Impacts: Monday, July 28 to Saturday, Aug. 2: Daytime and nighttime, single-lane closures on both directions of I-5. NOTE: The posted speed limit will be reduced to 60 mph, both directions, throughout the construction zone. Workers will be present and working beyond the shoulder during daylight hours, 7 days a week.
