What to expect

WSDOT will work to keep people moving while crews replace five outdated culverts. New structures that allow fish to access spawning and rearing habitat will replace the culverts.

In spring 2024, travelers will see one-way alternating traffic at all five sites on US 101 as crews build temporary one-lane roads around each work zone. Once the temporary road is in place, temporary signals will alternate traffic one direction at a time around the work zone.

The work zones are between Lake Crescent and Ruby Beach.

In fall 2024, all five sites will return to two lanes. The Wisen Creek location in Clallam County will have additional work in summer 2025.
