CADD Data

The CADD files you will find here were were digitized from the USGS quadrangles over a period of 15 years. We update the State, US, and Interstate Highways every year. Non-state owned roads, streets, railroads, airports and other features on the maps are updated at irregular intervals and may be out-of-date.

For questions about the CADD data listed on this page, please contact: Mark Bozanich @ 360-596-8921

Use the quad map below to to help you choose which files CADD (.dgn) to download. Or, for a more extensive list of available .dgn files please visit our FTP site.

Each .dgn file represents a 30 x 60 minute quadrangle. Each was digitized at a scale of 1:24,000 or 1"= 2000'.

The file names match the reference codes on the map, which correspond to a geographic area in the state.

We have created some word documents to assist you with the various files types located on the ftp server. We have provided the two most requested below:

NOTE: Most of the digital files on the ftp site are between 1 - 5mb but some of the TIFF files are larger than 12mb and may take longer to download depending on your internet connection. Also, you may be able to read shapefiles and DGN formats using other software so please refer to your software manuals or visit ArcGIS.com for shapfile reader or Bentley for dgn reader.
