WSDOT hosting two open houses, Nov. 15 and 16

ORTING – Commuters, residents and local businesses that rely on State Route 162 between Sumner and Orting are invited to explore ideas to help improve travel on this busy corridor.

Washington State Department of Transportation staff will host two open houses to share results of its SR 162 corridor study. The events follow community discussions and a public survey used to gather ideas and suggestions about the corridor. All users of the highway are invited to join WSDOT to talk with staff working for a better commute.

No formal presentation will be provided. Attendees are welcome to come and go at their leisure during each two-hour event.
