SEATTLE – Get pumped for NFC playoff season aboard Washington State Ferries with the first-ever Blue Friday floating pep rally, Friday, Jan. 6.

Twelves are invited to join the high-energy “heartbeat of the fans,” Blue Thunder drumline, Sea Gals cheerleaders, and Seahawks Legend Lawyer Milloy on the 3 p.m. Bremerton to Seattle sailing the day before the Seahawks host the Detroit Lions in the NFC Wild Card playoff game at CenturyLink Field.

“Our customers have celebrated with floating pep rallies in the past, but we are very excited to officially host Blue Friday with the Seahawks for the first time in a major way,” said Chief of Staff Elizabeth Kosa. “All are welcome to come out and celebrate, dance with the drumline and enjoy the incredible Seattle-skyline view.”

The event is free with ferry ticket purchase, however, fans are encouraged to arrive early at Bremerton terminal as capacity aboard the Chelan is limited to 1,200 people and 124 vehicles.

Kickoff for the Wild Card playoff game against the Detroit Lions is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7. WSF has added additional staff at the Seattle terminal, and an added late-night sailing from Seattle to Bremerton at 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
