I-82 Columbia River Bridge - EB Truss Deck Replacement

Single lane traffic both directions is in place until Fall 2018

Eastbound traffic has been shifted across a detour onto the westbound Columbia River bridge into Oregon. The speed limit east and westbound is reduced to 40 mph across this detour. Westbound traffic is also reduced to a single lane.

Project Description:
This project will remove the deck off the truss section of the eastbound bridge across the Columbia River into Oregon. The work will also upgrade the electrical system and pavement markings across the bridge. Traffic will be detoured onto the westbound bridge during the majority of this multi-session project. 




SR-240 milepost 25.5 to milepost 26.5 City of Richland Village Parkway Intersection

Project Description: This is a Developer project. The Developer’s contractor will be constructing a new intersection with left-turn channelization on SR-240 at milepost 26.16. 


Maintenance/Utility Operations:
I-82 westbound milepost 116 to 118: Monday April 16 through Thursday April 19, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be a right lane closure for curb repairs. This work is weather dependent.

I-182 westbound milepost 5 to milepost 7: Monday April 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a right lane closure at crews sweep and make repairs to the shoulder. This work is weather dependent.

SR-397 both directions milepost 0 to milepost 3: Monday April 16 to Thursday April 19 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day, there will flagged traffic control as WSDOT crews seal the roadway. This work is weather dependent.

I-90 468th Ave. SE to W Summit Rd EB – Rehab Concrete, Deck Rehab, Culvert Rehab (mileposts 34 to
52)

Project Description:
This project will provide for rehabilitation of the eastbound lanes of I-90 from the 468th Avenue Interchange in North Bend to the West Summit Road at Snoqualmie Pass (milepost 34 to milepost 52). Work will consist of concrete panel replacement, concrete pavement grinding and culvert rehabilitation to maintain drainage. Also included in the work is the
rehabilitation of bridge decks 90/91S eastbound at Snoqualmie River, 90/96.5N westbound at Denny Creek, the Denny Creek Viaduct Bridge 90/97.2N westbound and Bridge 90/97.7N westbound at Franklin Falls. 



Maintenance/Utility Operations:
I-90 milepost 47 both east and westbound: Tuesday April 17 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. multiple lane closures to repair pavement sensors. This work is weather dependent.

I-90 Hyak to Keechelus Dam Phase 1C – Replace Snow shed and Add Lanes (mileposts 57 to 62)

I-90 Snoqualmie Pass MP 57 to 62: Daytime: Traffic may encounter intermittent rolling slowdowns during the week.

Nighttime: No significant traffic impacts anticipated.

Bicycle Alternate Route:
I-90 is closed to bicycles in both directions
between the Hyak interchange (Exit 54) and Stampede Pass interchange (exit 62) because there is no shoulder for bicycles to use.

Project Description:
Crews are building a wider and more reliable five-mile stretch of I-90 from Hyak to Keechelus Dam by adding lanes, replacing and adding bridges, stabilizing rock slopes and replacing the snow shed with avalanche bridges.

Project Description:
This project provides for the improvement of 2.5 miles of I-90 from Keechelus Dam to the Price Creek Rest Area. The existing four lane facility will be replaced with a new six lane highway which includes several new bridges, drainage structures, chain up areas, illumination and ITS facilities and a wildlife overcrossing structure. 
  

SR-903 Pennsylvania Ave. milepost 5.3 to milepost 5.4 - City of Roslyn

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
Intermittent lanes closures during daylight hours.

Project Description: The City of Roslyn is constructing new curb, gutter, and sidewalks along Pennsylvania Avenue between 1st and 2nd Street.


US-97 - City of Ellensburg Project - Utility Work - milepost 134.6 to mile post 134.8

Scheduled Completion: Mid April, 2018

Current Week Traffic Advisory: US-97: Between milepost 134.6 and 134.8, about 0.5 miles west of the US-97/Dolarway intersection City of Ellensburg crews will be installing new power and gas lines. Work will take place Monday through Friday during daylight hours. Crews will be working off the roadway near the fence and there should be no impact to traffic.

Project Description:
This is a City of Ellensburg Energy Services project, where they will be installing new power and sewer lines along US-97.


Maintenance/Utility Operations:
I-90 westbound milepost 70: Tuesday April 17 starting at 7 a.m. and lasting all day, there will be a left lane closure for shoulder clean up of a fuel spill from an earlier collision involving a semi.

I-90 westbound milepost 86: Tuesday April 17 starting at 8:30 a.m. and lasting all day, there will be a right lane closure for shoulder clean up of a fuel spill from an earlier collision involving a semi.

SR-821 milepost 16 to milepost 22: Tuesday April 17 between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be single lane flagged traffic for ditching operations. 

SR-10 milepost 89 to milepost 91: Wednesday April 18 between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be single lane flagged traffic for ditching operations.

SR-10 milepost 90 to milepost 93: Thursday April 19 between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be single lane flagged traffic for ditching operations.

I-82 / US 97 – Yakima County Deck Rehabilitation (I-82 mileposts 41 to 42, US 97 mileposts 37 to 38)

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
There will be no lane closures until sometime this spring.

Project Description:
This project rehabilitates the bridge deck on two bridges in Yakima County. Bridge 82/135N is the westbound bridge that crosses the Yakima Valley Highway at milepost 42, located 5 miles east of Yakima on I-82. Bridge 97/102 crosses Satus Creek, located 24 miles south of
Toppenish on US-97. The bridges will be rehabilitated by removing and replacing the top portion of the bridge decks with a modified concrete overly. Bridge expansion joints will also be replaced.



I-82 - milepost 33.8 to mile post 35 – City of Yakima Sewer Project – Utility Work

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
I-82 eastbound between milepost 33, Exit 33 Yakima Ave. and milepost 34, Exit 34 Nob Hill Blvd: Monday through Friday during daylight hours, Yakima City crews will be installing a new sewer line along the fence line. Crews will be working off the roadway on the shoulder and there should be no impact to traffic. 

Project Description:
This is a City of Yakima Sewer project, where their contractor will be conducting utility work along the roadside of I-82 between the I-82 / Exit 33 E Yakima Avenue Interchange and the I-82 / Exit 34 SR/24/Nob Hill Boulevard Interchange.


Maintenance/Utility Operations: 
I-82 westbound between milepost 24 and milepost 29: Monday April 16 through Thursday April 19 between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. there will be lane closures as crews seal the roadway. This work is weather dependent.  

US-12 eastbound milepost 193 (approx. three miles east of Naches) Wednesday April 18 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be a left lane closure for guardrail repair.
