Blocking Incidents
  • The SR 162 Spiketon Creek Bridge has been permanently closed due to recently discovered pier settlement. A detour is in effect using Mundy Loss Road, SR 410 and SR 165. View our next steps for a path towards replacement.
  • The Blue Lake Rest Area remains closed due to utility damage over the winter.
    No estimated time for the spring opening.
  • SR-410 Chinook Pass is closed for the season. Closure is from milepost 57 near Crystal Mountain Blvd. on the west side of the summit and milepost 74.5 near the Morse Creek gate on the east side of the summit.
Construction Closures
  • ON US2/97 east of the Odabashian Bridge at the Cascade Avenue exit Beginning Wednesday (4/24) at 7 a.m. the contractor will close Cascade at the intersection to continue with work on the project. There will be a signed detour.
  • I-90 milepost 33 to 137 North Bend to Vantage: There are a number of areas where we will have maintenance and construction crews working between North Bend and Vantage. Expect minor delays during the week due to lane closures and intermittent rolling slowdowns during the day. Pay attention and slow down as you enter and exit work zones.
  • On SR 28 in Quincy at 13th Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Expect lane shifts and flagger-controlled traffic with short delays, or a long detour where a roundabout is under construction.
  • On SR 285 Sunday through Friday NIGHTS, 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. expect lane closures on Mission St., Wenatchee Ave. and side streets for permanent plastic striping work.
  • Sunday, April 21, to the morning of Friday, April 26 – Eastbound US 2 will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic between the SR 9 interchange and Fryelands Boulevard from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly.
  • On US 2 through Leavenworth Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Expect delays.Traffic impacts include center lane closures with lane shifts in Leavenworth as well as shoulder and sidewalk closures. Pedestrian detours will be in place as needed.
  • On US 97 north of Blewett Pass at Swauk Campground Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 minutes as construction begins
  • Monday, April 22, to the morning of Friday, April 26 – Up to three right lanes of eastbound I-90 between SR 18 and 468th Avenue Southeast will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
  • Wednesday, April 24, to the morning of Saturday, April 27 – One HOV lane and one general purpose lane of eastbound SR 520 between 148th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 36th Street will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • On US 97A at the Dan Gordon bridge in Chelan on Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. expect flagger controlled traffic with delays where crews are extending a sewer line.
  • I-82 milepost 37 both directions Union Gap: Day Work - Shadow vehicle will be utilized in the left lane for trucks entering and leaving the highway.
Special Events
  • US 12 milepost 187 west of Naches and SR-821 milepost 25 to milepost 1 The Yakima River Canyon Road, Sunday April 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. the 2019 Yakima Valley Fondo Bike Ride will take place. Drivers need to watch for cyclist on US-12, SR-821 and SR-832.
