By law, WSDOT is required to open the Hood Canal Bridge drawspan to mariners within one hour’s notice, and motorists are advised to expect up to 60-minute delays with each opening. If no drawspan openings are listed immediately below, no non-military drawspan openings are scheduled.
The bridge drawspan will open at approximately 10:45 AM on Friday August 18 for boat traffic. Drivers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes.
