Express Lanes Schedule Changes

Description: The I-5 express lanes are used to assist the flow of traffic during busy travel times. These lanes are scheduled to move in the direction that will relieve the most congestion from the transportation system.

  • Sunday, May 26 – Express lanes will be open in the southbound direction from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 26 – Express lanes will be open in the northbound direction from 1:45 to 11:00 p.m.
  • Monday, May 27 – Express lanes will be open in the southbound direction from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Monday, May 27 – Express lanes will be open in the northbound direction from 1:45 to 11:00 p.m.

SB S Lucile St to Spring St Pavement Repair - #9235

  • High Impact - Tuesday, May 28, to the morning of Saturday, June 1 - All lanes of the southbound I-5 collector-distributor at Airport Way will be closed from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly. During this time, all traffic will exit at Airport Way and follow the signed detour in place (pdf 291 kb) to access southbound I-5. This work is weather-dependent.

NB S 260th St to Duwamish River Br - Concrete Pavement Rehab & ADA - #8992

    Express Lanes Entrances Electronic Sign Replacement - #9272
