Express Lanes Schedule Changes

Description: The I-5 express lanes are used to assist the flow of traffic during busy travel times. These lanes are scheduled to move in the direction that will relieve the most congestion from the transportation system.

SB S Lucile St to Spring St Pavement Repair - #9235

Description: WSDOT contractor crews are replacing broken concrete panels, grinding and repaving southbound I-5 and the collector/distributor between Spring Street and South Lucile Street in Seattle.

Express Lanes Entrances Electronic Sign Replacement - #9272

Description: WSDOT contractor crews are replacing the sign structures and brackets, along with the electrical and fiber optic systems at seven entrances to the I-5 express lanes. A few of the sign structures will also be redesigned to create a better viewing angle.

Roy St to N 145th St Paving & ADA Compliance - #9256

Description: WSDOT contractor crews are grinding and repaving both directions of SR 99 between Roy Street and North 145th Street in Seattle. Dozens of curb ramps are also being rebuilt or added to provide better sidewalk connections for people of all abilities.
