LTAP classes for local agencies

LTAP classes are open to employees of cities, counties, tribes, ports, transit agencies, WSDOT and other state agencies, consultants, contractors, and out-of-state public agencies.

Classes fill quickly, most with limited seats. Please register only if you will attend, and notify early if you must cancel. Some classes take only two per agency, to provide spots to more agencies.

Please Note: coffee, refreshments and meals are not provided for WSDOT LTAP classes (a Washington State agency, prohibited in RCW3926). Please be prepared to provide your own, considering class location and times.

2020 Annual WAPA/WSDOT Joint Training Conference

WSDOT Work Zone Traffic Control Design (pdf 27 kb)
These are WSDOT internal class with spots available to Local Agencies.

Bridge Inventory Coding (pdf 56 kb)
Training for coding on bridges contained in the National Bridge Inventory (NBI).

Some seats available for meetings in several locations.  Learn program updates, best management practices, and training for ROW activities on federal aid transportation projects.

Free Access to AASHTO-TC3 Training (American Assoc. of State Hwy & Transportation Officials - Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council) - FHWA and AASHTO have partnered to provide local and tribal transportation professionals free access to the TC3 library of training. WSDOT Construction Classes (pdf 40 kb) Please check the online Registration Form dropdown menu for current postings of class titles, dates and locations. Topics scheduled throughout the year include: Construction Inspection Documentation; Construction Materials Acceptance & Approval; Drainage Inspection; Excavation & Embankment Inspection; HMA Inspection; BST Inspection. Only a few spots per class are generally open to local agencies, so please only register no more than 2 per agency to give others the opportunity for a spot.
