Why is WSDOT Improving the intersection of Industrial Way (SR 432) and Oregon Way (SR 433) in Longview?
This intersection is a critical connection of two highways of statewide significance that supports passenger and freight traffic.

The End Result
This project will address traffic congestion, freight mobility and safety issues at one of the busiest truck tonnage intersections in the state.

Timeline

  • 2017 – 2021: Preliminary engineering, environmental documentation and public outreach
  • 2019 – 2021: Project design, environmental review and permitting, real estate acquisition, and development of final plans
  • 2021 - 2022: Right of way acquisition 
  • 2022-2023: Final design and engineering
  • 2023: Project scheduled to begin construction
