SR 500 - SR 503 to NE 4th Plain Blvd – Project Map

Padden paving map
In summer 2017, contractor crews will resurface State Route 500, also known as Padden Parkway, from State Route 503, also known as 117th Avenue., to NE 162nd Avenue and then crack seal along NE 162nd Avenue to NE Fourth Plain Boulevard. ADA ramps will also be reconstructed and new traffic detection loops installed through the corridor.

What should drivers expect?
Drivers should plan for day and nighttime lane closures on both directions of the highway. Construction will also affect the pedestrian path on the south side of Padden Parkway.

NOTE: During two consecutive weekends, you can expect directional closures of Padden Parkway between 117th Avenue and 162nd Avenue beginning at 8 p.m. on a Friday night until 5 a.m. Monday morning. The pedestrian path on the south side SR 500 will also close for 9 days. Users of the corridor should plan to use alternate route and expect delays.
