WSDOT accountability

WSDOT is a recognized leader in providing accessible, transparent, credible and accurate performance reports on agency programs and projects. According to Governing Magazine, WSDOT is the "gold standard" in government performance reporting. Our performance reports are transparent, credible and accurate. The Gray Notebook (GNB) and Corridor Capacity Report (CCR) are just two examples of this work. WSDOT is a partner in state and federal performance initiatives.

The Gray Notebook
The latest edition of the Gray Notebook (pdf 3.1mb), WSDOT's primary transportation system performance report is now available for the quarter ending June 30, 2019.

MAP-21 performance management
In July 2012, the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) became law. WSDOT is tracking the release of MAP-21's proposed rules and has created a MAP-21 performance management page featuring folios and other resources.

A performance reporting gallery features some of the story maps that illustrate WSDOT performance.

The GNB features four interactive online maps that showcase WSDOT's work around the state and include graphs and data as well as links to additional online resources.
