Blocking Incidents
  • The Blue Lake Rest Area remains closed due to utility damage over the winter.
    No estimated time for the spring opening.
  • Sprague rest area on I-90 WB at milepost 242. is open, but no potable water is available for drinking, near Sprague beginning at 7:35 am on June 10, 2019 until further notice.
Construction Closures
  • SR 28 between Ephrata and Soap Lake (MP 44 to 53)- Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect 20 minute delays in Ephrata and between Ephrata and Soap Lake where the crew is paving, and minor delays with lane shifts, shoulder and sidewalk closures with pedestrian detours within Ephrata city limits.
  • The Hamilton/SR 290 westbound on-ramp to I-90 is closed for construction to continue bridge deck repair until further notice.
  • Construction on US 2 both directions from milepost 263.4 near Reardan to milepost 271.2 near Espanola Rd beginning at 7:43 am on April 15, 2019, until further notice.
  • Construction on I-90 both directions from milepost 206.9 near SR 21 to milepost 220.1 near Ritzville beginning at 7:48 am on April 15, 2019, until further notice.
  • Spokane County: Starting on April 29th through May 31, Spokane County will have Little Spokane Dr closed between Little Spokane Lane to Shady Slope for installing sewer lines. Expect delays, use other routes.
  • Construction on US 195 both directions at milepost 94.9 near Thorp Rd beginning at 7:00 am on May 13, 2019, until further notice.
  • Construction on US 195 both directions from milepost 62.3 near SR 271 Off-Ramp to milepost 69.9 near Plaza Rd On Ramp beginning at 7:00 pm on May 20, 2019 until further notice. Construction will be night work, Mon-Fri 7:00 pm to 5:00 am.
  • The City of Spokane will have Market Street reduced to one lane in each direction, from Marietta to Garnet Street starting Tuesday, May 28, 2019 for water line replacement. Motorists should use other routes and expect delays.
  • I-90 milepost 175.5 to 176.1 (Moses Lake east of Blue Heron Park), Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be a 55 mph reduced speed zone and lane closures where the bridge maintenance crew is working on and around the bridge.
  • Construction on the shoulder of US 395 both directions from milepost 166.9 near Wandermere Rd to milepost 167.0 near Wandermere Rd beginning at 7:52 am on April 9, 2019, until further notice.
  • Spokane County: Construction work resumes this week adding culverts, guardrail and paving. The speed limit has been reduced to 35 MPH. There will be lane restrictions and an upcoming two week closure. Expect delays during construction work.
  • The City of Spokane will have Arthur Street closed between Third and Second Ave. for storm water pipe replacement. Motorists should use other routes and expect delays, until about June 17th.
  • City of Spokane, the Post Street Bridge is closed to vehicular traffic starting immediately.
  • City of Spokane will have Lincoln Street closed between Main Ave and Spokane Falls Boulevard for road work. Motorists should use other routes and expect delays.
  • City of Spokane will have Sunset Blvd reduced to one lane in each direction from Lindeke St to Royal Street for road work. Execpt delays.
  • Construction on US 395 Spur - NSC both directions at the Freya Roundabouts Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Roadway users should be alert for occasional traffic control.
  • Construction on SR 21 both directions at both Keller Ferry Landing sites beginning at 7:30 am on April 17, 2019, until further notice. Crews will begin construction on new the new terminal and pontoon replacement. Ferry operation will not be impacted at this time.
