Blocking Incidents
  • Monday, September 2 – Express lanes will be open in the northbound direction from 1:45 to 11:00 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 21 - The northbound I-5 express lanes will close at 10 p.m. for maintenance.
  • The Iron Goat Rest Area on US 2 westbound at milepost 58 4 miles west of Stevens Pass summit is closed for the season.
  • Monday, September 2 – Express lanes will be open in the southbound direction from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 14, to the morning of Sunday, September 15 – Express lanes will be open all night in the northbound direction from 1:45 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Construction Closures
  • Through Friday, Nov. 15 - Up to one lane in each direction of I-5 between SR 534 and SR 530 could be closed around the clock.
  • Through the morning of Friday, Nov. 15 - Two lanes in each direction of I-5 between SR 534 and SR 530 will close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.Crews could also close ramps nightly in this stretch for striping and sealing work. Signed detours will be in place.
  • Through the morning of Friday, Nov. 15 - Two lanes in each direction of I-5 between SR 530 and SR 534 will close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Through the morning of Friday, Nov. 15 - Crews could close ramps in each direction between SR 530 and SR 534 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for striping work. Signed detours will be in place.
  • Through Friday, Nov. 15 - Up to one lane in each direction of I-5 between SR 534 and SR 530 could be closed around the clock.
  • Monday, Nov. 11, to the morning of Friday, Nov. 15 – The HOV lane of eastbound SR 520 at Northeast 40th Street will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Through Friday, Nov. 15 - A temporary traffic signal will alternate SR 9 travelers over Lake Creek between Big Lake and Lake McMurray around-the-clock while crews do bridge work and during the overnight hours. Minor delays are expected.
