Blocking Incidents
  • SR-410 Chinook Pass is closed for the season between mp 57, Crystal Mountain Blvd. and milepost 74 near Morse Creek. The closure point on SR 410/Chinook Pass has been moved from milepost 74 at Morse Creek, 9 miles east of the summit to mp 84 at the Hells Crossing Campground 15 miles east of the summit. The highway is damaged due to flooding in the Miner Cr. vicinity, near mp 82. This is estimated to be an extended closure and WSDOT will provide updates to the public as they become available.
  • I-82 westbound milepost 67, just south of Sunnyside: The right lane is closed near Midvale Rd. to repair the concrete road panel, until further notice.
Construction Closures
  • Monday, Feb. 17 to Friday, Feb. 21: Travelers in both directions of SR 141, between East Jewett Boulevard and River Watch Drive, will be alternated through a single-lane with flaggers, daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for water main replacement work.
  • Construction on SR 14 eastbound at milepost 57 near Little White Salmon River. The crew will be alternating traffic through the work zone beginning at 7:40 am on February 18, 2020 until further notice.
  • I-82 westbound milepost 1 to 4, south of Ellensburg: I-82 Wednesday Feb. 19, traffic will be reduced to one lane during daylight hours.
  • On SR 24, milepost 78 (Bench Rd. south of Othello) Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. expect flagger controlled traffic with delays where the contractor has initiated site preparation for the installation of the roundabout project.

    The intersection closure and detour will begin Friday at 7 p.m. and reopened Monday, Feb. 24.
  • I-82 milepost 38 Union Gap: The on-ramp from Main street to I-82 eastbound, flagging operation during daylight hours, Monday, Feb. 17 to Thursday, Feb. 20.
    Exit 38 westbound off-ramp: Thursday, Feb. 20 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the ramp will be closed, a detour will be in place.
