Blocking Incidents
  • I-90 eastbound milepost 137 over the Vantage Bridge, there will be a right lane closure 24 hours a day until Thursday Oct. 1 at 3:30 p.m. Loads over 11 feet wide are prohibited.
  • I-82 both directions milepost 8 to milepost 15, eight miles east of Ellensburg: Through Thursday Oct. 1 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day there will be a left lane closure for shoulder repair work.
Construction Closures
  • Monday, Sept. 28 through Tuesday, Oct. 6: Both directions of SR 14 near Wind River Road, will be fully closed for 45 minutes in duration at the top of each hour, daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., for slope stabilization work.
    Note: At 15 minutes to the hour, each hour, travelers on both directions of SR 14 will be moved through the closure with flaggers.
  • Monday, July 13 until further notice: Travelers on both directions of US 97, between Indian Service Road and Wilson Charley Road, will encounter intermittent single lane closures with flaggers, daily, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for construction of the new bridge.

    Note: The speed limit through the work zone has been temporarily reduced from 65 mph to 40 mph. This speed limit reduction will remain in place throughout construction
  • Construction on US 97 northbound from milepost 30.6 near Satus Creek to milepost 30.9 near Wilson Charley Indian Reservation, traffic will be alternated through one lane, use caution and expect delays, beginning at 7:33 am on October 1, 2020 until further notice.
  • Construction on SR 14 from milepost 100.73 near SR 14 Maryhill (Spur) to milepost 102 near Biggs Bridge Junction, traffic will be alternated through one lane, use caution, beginning at 7:40 am on October 1, 2020 until further notice.
  • Construction on SR 14 westbound at milepost 57 near Little White Salmon River, traffic will be alternated through one lane, use caution and expect delays, beginning at 9:47 am on October 1, 2020 until further notice.
  • SR-240 milepost 33 Richland vicinity: Access to Duportail Rd to and from SR 240 is closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for roadway construction improvements. Detours are in place. Expect SR 240 in both directions at Duportail Rd intersection to have a single lane closure and speed reduction.
  • I-82 eastbound milepost 33, Fair Ave and the I-82 on ramp, Yakima: Monday through Friday from 3 a.m. to 7 p.m. over the next few weeks, the work zone on Fair Ave. will be limited to a single lane at times and drivers may experience minor delays. The intersection of the I-82 Exit 33A off ramp and Fair Avenue will be flagger controlled between the hours of 3 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, drivers may experience minor delays.
  • US-12 both directions milepost 175 to 185 Junction of US-12 and SR-410: Monday Sept 28 to Thursday Oct 1, between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. travelers should expect single lane pilot car controlled traffic control with 10 minute delays for pavement sealing and preservation work.
