US 97A Both Directions - On US 97A milepost 217-223 (Entiat to junction of SR 971/Navarre Coulee Rd.) Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the road will be closed for rock scaling activities. There are no midday openings. Day long closures are scheduled for weekdays until June 15.

US 97A Both Directions - US 97A is closed in both directions from milepost 223 to milepost 230 at the Knapps Hill Tunnel south of Chelan due to rock slides. Motorists traveling between Wenatchee and Chelan should use US 97 on the east side of the Columbia River. This will be an extended closure with no estimated re-opening date. SR 971 is NOT AVAILABLE as a detour from 8 am to 5 pm each weekday due to a separate roadway closure near Entiat. SR 971 is not recommended for large vehicles at any time.
