SR 28 Ephrata to Soap Lake Paving and ADA Compliance #9367 County: Grant Highway: SR 28 Region: North Central Location: MP 44.5-53.0 (Ephrata to Soap Lake) Description: In this $3.6 million project, Columbia Asphalt and Ready Mix crews are lowering utilities and updating deficient sidewalk curb ramps to meet ADA standards. Project began March 25 and should be complete in August. Work schedule: Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect delays up to 20 minutes with flaggers, lane shifts and alternating one-way traffic between Martin Road and the south end of Ephrata, and between the north end of Ephrata and Soap Lake where the contractor is chip sealing.
