SR 28 Ephrata to Soap Lake Paving and ADA Compliance #9367 County: Grant Highway: SR 28 Region: North Central Location: MP 44.5-53.0 (Ephrata to Soap Lake) Description: In this $3.6 million project, Columbia Asphalt and Ready Mix crews are lowering utilities and updating deficient sidewalk curb ramps to meet ADA standards. Project began March 25 and should be complete in August. Work schedule: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect delays up to 20 minutes with lane shifts and alternating 1-way traffic through Ephrata and between the north end of Ephrata and Soap Lake where the contractor is installing pavement markers, signage and guideposts.k.
