I-5 - SR 510 Interchange - Reconstruct Interchange

Description:  Crews are converting the existing interchange into a diverging diamond interchange. All users of this interchange are strongly encouraged to sign up for WSDOT email updates and see more at the project webpage.

Marvin Road

9 p.m. Monday, June 1 to 5 a.m. the following day

  • Marvin Road on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close.
     

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 2

  • Single-lane closure for the northbound Marvin Road left turn lane to southbound I-5. One left turn lane will remain open.  

As soon as the evening of Thursday, June 4

  • Single lane closures for both directions of Marvin Road. Uniformed police officers or flaggers will direct traffic through the intersections adjoining the northbound and southbound I-5 ramps.
  • ​The left Marvin Road southbound lane approaching the overpass will temporarily become a left turn only for northbound I-5 and Quinault Drive Northeast. The left southbound lane will not be open for through traffic into Lacey. Southbound Marvin Road travelers going into Lacey will use the right lane.

Around-the-clock

  • Single-lane closure for northbound I-5 exit to Marvin Road. One lane is open.

Description: Southbound slow moving vehicle using left lane and shoulder for sweeping. 
Work Schedule: 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, June 2-4.

Description: Single lane closures in both directions for environmental monitoring. 
Work Schedule:  8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, June 2-4.

Highway: SR 507 Region: Olympic County: Thurston Location: Milepost(s) 28 to 30.6

Description: Slow moving vehicle in both directions to restripe reflective lane lines. Avoid lane changes on freshly painted lines.
